The photo-journalistic (candid) approach to wedding photography is preferred by many brides to the traditional posed shots. Naturally, posed pictures are still enjoyed and requesting that some of the photos be black and white is common.Day After sessions are one of the latest trends in wedding photography. Gone are the days of 'pre-bridal' sessions and worrying about getting your dress dirty. Brides & grooms can participate in a variety of fun, romantic and sometimes sexy sessions after their actual wedding day... |
I have to admit that choosing a wedding photographer was one of the biggest decisions for us. Photography is important to both Chris and I, and we both wanted beautiful pictures to look back on, but it was a little daunting to find that right person to capture our day. There seems to be so many photographers out there and unless you have people who can give you recommendations, it can be hard to narrow it down. A big point with us was price. We wanted those beautiful pictures you see in magazines and on the blogs, but many of those photographers were just out of our budget. Searchin... |
Beautiful light, beautiful couple, beautiful surroundings… makes for great wedding photography! Jason and I (Gina) were fortunate enough to escape the Colorado winter weather and travel to beautiful Cancun, Mexico for an amazing destination wedding. We love this couple and after a COLD engagement photography session in Denver and Genesee, we couldn’t wait for their February destination wedding. Too much. Excess. An overabundance. Of love, happiness, support...and hard work, but I think those things are harmoniously synergistic. This past year was filled with ups, downs, and OHMYGODWHATAREWEDOINGs, but I wouldn't have changed a thing. This is primarily in part to having some of the most amazing clients. Ever. Being a wedding photographer allows me to live out my dreams, dare to hope, and challenge myself to be a better person. For this, I'm thankful. However, I realize without the love, happiness, and support of clients who believe in my ability, I'm nothing. Here's a look... |
Over the last five or so years, I have seen so many different styles of weddings...black tie dock-side ceremonies, champagne and chocolate affairs in contemporary art museums, barns decked out with crystal chandeliers. There are so many different types of couples out there, planning so many different types of weddings. It makes my job that much more interesting and that much more exciting.
